I wrote for Wikinut from 2013 to about 2015. I joined to make money writing online and gain exposure as a writer/author. (I think I made $20 in two years. The site no longer pays.) I kept writing for the site because the online community there was great and it was an easy platform to post on. I quit to focus on novel writing and publishing. However, I remain friends with other 'nutters on FB and other platforms. Some of them still produce content for Wikinut; some don't. It is good to have friends.
I share these for other online writers who may be looking for a good online critique community and evaluating pros and cons of different sites to write for.
